Penelope's gang looked over at us and stuck their tongues out as if they were practicing all day.
"I'm a speaker. I go around doing assembly speeches and making girls feel better about themselves. They spend a week with me in this little camp I set up in a community center. Would you like to come? It's only $2.00 per person." Lucy said.
Louise gave me a note that she was her actual cousin, not from adoption.
"Sure I would! I get picked on daily! Don't know about Stacy, though..." Amy said.
"I'll ask my dad. What time is it?" I asked.
"This is the good part. It's at school time!" Lucy said.
I thanked her. Then she walked away with MY best friend, Louise and didn't invite us over. Amy looking hypnotized by Lucy joined them shortly after.
"Looks like you lost your friends to someone who isn't even stylish." Penelope snickered. Her gang snickered after her. "Need help planning revenge?"
"No! She's nice!"
"You know, I've met her before. You do realize she's 14, right? 4 years older than us. Best part, she's taller than us."
"So what?" I asked her.
"So i'll invite her over to MY house. You come over. Make hot chocolate then I pretend I made it go over and then "without looking" you "accidentally" bash in to me and it spills all over her!"
"That does sound a bit- what am I saying? You know, I need my friends back. Let's go for it."
"Friday. Let's do it Friday after school. Friday 13th to be exact."
"'Cause it will be her unlucky day!" Jessie piped in.
"Shut up, Jessie." Penelope said as they walked away giggling.
Can't wait till Friday! Something tells me that something bad will happen though... I hope to her, not me!
