You're looking at my French class (Canadians have French). Mme (Madame) Kenning teaches french. She's really nice but she doesn't make very good decisions. She assigned us to make a french play in groups of 3. My friends and I instantly looked at each other with glee and then she told us she would pick partners.
"Hmm..." she said as she read from her page.
"Louise, Ernest" I heard a few giggles "and George!" And now it was fully laughter.
"Stephanie, Amy and Thomas!"
"Howard, Daniel and... Jasmine!"
"Jessie, Penelope and Stacy!"
This time, everyone in my group groaned. I later met with my group members who felt terrible. We all went to complain. Mme Kenning didn't care. She said we should get along. Louise was glad she was with nerds who could do the work. Then she giggled and said she HOPED they would do it. Amy was quite happy with her group. She thought Thomas was really great at french and Howard was good at acting. She was confident that her group would get an A+.
And then I got a note from Penelope. I copied what it said on to here:
Penelope: Jessie and I agreed that you would write the play. Then show it to us. We'll take the credit then we'll all present it as if you didn't do a thing but act in it! Show this to Mme Kenning and we'll spread rumors about you having a thing for Thomas. We know ALL about it! Watch your back
-Penelope
I was as mad as ever. I agreed angrily. Stay tuned, I don't think it ends well.
